New Year’s Eve at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater begins with a delectable dinner specially crafted for the occasion by Executive Chef Eric DeGroot and Sous Chef Cate Walker. While dinner is served, guests will be serenaded by the Blue Street Jazz Band Quartet.

Good Company Players presents Beehive, the high-energy musical salute to the hits of the 60s. A seven-woman cast of versatile and gifted performers pays tribute to artists like Connie Francis, Petula Clark, Leslie Gore, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and many girl groups of the early 60s.
BEEHIVE explodes with tunes and talent. Memories and melodies are hilariously revived in the hands of Tami Cowger, Camille Gaston, Teresa K. Gipson, Janet Glaude, Kelly Brianne Hall, Dorie Hamby and Astrid Plane.

In this riotously funny Southern-fried comedy, the three Verdeen cousins could not have picked a worse time to throw their family reunion. Hilarity ensues when the widely eccentric Verdeens gather on the hottest day of July, smack–dab in the middle of Texas tornado season – and a high-stakes wager is made on who bakes the best red velvet cake!

BRING OUT YOUR INNER DIRECTOR
Learn what it takes, from start to finish, to get a great musical onto the stage. Go behind-the-scenes with Good Company Players founder, Dan Pessano. You’ll be immersed in the inner workings of live theater with your choice of Paint Your Wagon or Fiddler on the Roof.
With Dan as your guide, you will:
*Attend the January 5th audition, followed by a discussion of the process.
*Go to Callbacks on January 7th or 8th to see how the final casting choices are made.
*Follow and discuss how things are progressing at two Tuesday night rehearsals.
*Attend the tech rehearsal on the Tuesday night before your show opens, and see how lights, sound, sets, costumes and props are tuned and tweaked for opening.
*Enjoy tours and discussions with Dan.
The fee for this unique, behind-the-scenes immersion in theater with Good Company Players Director Dan Pessano is $150 per person, $250 per couple. The deadline for signup is January 3rd. Auditions
Auditions will be held January 5 for a pair of shows at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater: Paint Your Wagon, which opens March 21, and Fiddler on the Roof, which opens May 23. These auditions begin at 10 a.m. at Roger Rocka’s, 1226 N. Wishon.
Auditions for the Junior Company will be held January 26, beginning at 9 a.m. at Roger Rocka’s.
