The New Season is about to begin at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater
The all-musical 2012 Season blends exciting new shows and best-loved favorites. It’s loaded with comedy, spiced with drama and complemented by the delicious and creative dinners prepared by Chef Eric DeGroot and his staff. It even brings country music star Louise Mandrell to Fresno to play the title role in the musical- comedy, CALAMITY JANE.
This is a season not to be missed. And the way to be sure you don’t miss a thing – and enjoy the best seats at the lowest price – is with a 2012 Season Ticket. We anticipate some sellouts in 2012. The bus tours are already lining up for Calamity Jane. But Season Subscribers don’t have to worry about a thing. Your place is guaranteed.

Nunsensations – final 2 weeks
at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater
Those holy rollers are winding up their “Vegas Revue” in “The Pump Room” at the “Mystique Motor Lodge.” The final performance will be January 15 as they make way on the stage at Roger Rocka’s for the opening of HAIRSPRAY.
It’s quite an adventure for those laughable, lovable nuns, and you still have a chance to meet Sin-City Sue, find out who’s Black and White with Her Money on Red, and try to win a new car with the “Holy Rollers Giant Slot Machine.”
NUNSENSATIONS is Rated PG.
You can’t stop the beat as Good Company Players present the larger than life musical, HAIRSPRAY.
It’s 1962 in Baltimore and Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair, a very big mom and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program and, overnight, is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity.
But can a trendsetter in dance and fashion vanquish the program’s reigning princess, win the heart of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a television show without denting her ‘do?
Only in HAIRSPRAY! Welcome to the ’60s. January 19 through March 18. Rated PG.
At Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre
Warm-hearted, irreverent and brilliantly imaginative, this play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three young Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions.
The oldest sister, Lenny is unmarried at thirty-seven and facing diminishing marital prospects. The middle sister, Meg is back after a failed singing career on the West Coast. Babe, the youngest, is out on bail after having shot her husband in the stomach.
Their troubles, grave and yet somehow hilarious, are highlighted by their priggish cousin, Chick, by one of Meg’s past flames and by the awkward young lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail while helpless not to fall in love with her.
December 29 until February 19. Rated PG-13.
