Hairspray
at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater
You can’t stop the beat as Good Company Players present the larger than life musical, HAIRSPRAY.
It’s 1962 in Baltimore and Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair, a very big mom and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program and, overnight, is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity.
But can a trendsetter in dance and fashion vanquish the program’s reigning princess, win the heart of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a television show without denting her ‘do?
Only in HAIRSPRAY! Welcome to the ’60s. Through March 18. Rated PG.
“Coming back to the upbeat and feverishly happy Good Company Players production of ‘Hairspray,’ which returns after two years to Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater, is like meeting up for dinner with old friends… ‘Hairspray’ is a show that will send you out of the theater with happy, dancing feet.” Donald Munro, Fresno Bee
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is set take over the stage at Roger Rocka’s beginning March 22 and running through May 20.
This fiendishly clever musical follows the antics of two con men who compete for the affections (and inheritance) of a beautiful socialite. As their victim unwittingly evades their clutches, they become more outrageous in their attempts to out do each other and the result is one of the best surprise endings in musical theater.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is rated PG-13.

At Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre
Warm-hearted, irreverent and brilliantly imaginative, this play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three young Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions.
The oldest sister, Lenny is unmarried at thirty-seven and facing diminishing marital prospects. The middle sister, Meg is back after a failed singing career on the West Coast. Babe, the youngest, is out on bail after having shot her husband in the stomach.
Their troubles, grave and yet somehow hilarious, are highlighted by their priggish cousin, Chick, by one of Meg’s past flames and by the awkward young lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail while helpless not to fall in love with her.
On stage through February 19. Rated PG-13.
Three highly respectable couples are celebrating the anniversary of their weddings, performed on the same day by the same parson.
When they discover the parson was not completely ordained, the celebration transforms into hilarious misadventures.
February 23 through April 15. Rated PG.

Okay Guys! Listen Up!
You say you’ve gone over and over your list and you just can’t figure out the right thing to get her for Valentine’s Day? Here’s the problem. You’re a guy. You’re feeling the Valentine’s pressure and getting the guy sweats.
Lemme help you out. She wants a gift that says you care. One that shows you’re in touch with her needs and wants. One that she can really enjoy.
So buy her Gift Certificates for Good Company Players’ dinner-shows at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. Maybe she’ll want to go right away and see Hairspray. Or maybe she’ll want to save them to see Louise Mandrell in Calamity Jane this summer.
She decides! She enjoys! She gets the message that you love her! You look good! (But lose the Yankees hat when you go.)
Buy Roger Rocka’s Gift Certificates by calling the Box Office at (559) 266-9494. Or since you’re sitting in front of your computer anyway, but them securely online by clicking right HERE.
Glad I could help!
