On stage now at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater – final weeks!
Monty Python’s SPAMALOT
Good Company Players continues its riotous run of Monty Python’s Spamalot through March 17th. If you haven’t seen it yet, get there! Audiences are having the time of their lives. Based on the hit film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this Broadway smash turns the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table upside-down and inside-out, spoofing everything from monarchies to musicals. GCP’s version features an exuberantly talented cast that will have you helpless with laughter. Rated PG-13. The final performance of SPAMALOT will be at the Sunday Matinee on March 17.

Opening March 21 at Roger Rocka’s, and rated G
Following Spamalot, Good Company Players offers Paint Your Wagon, which opens March 21st. With a rollicking score by Alan Jay Lerner & Frederick Loewe, Paint Your Wagon tells the tall tale of prospector Ben Rumson who comes West during the Gold Rush with his pretty daughter Jennifer to seek their fortune. When Jennifer discovers gold, the town booms, drawing hundreds of lovable but lawless miners — and no women. Ben must use all his resources to divert the lonely miners’ attention from his blossoming daughter. With all-time great songs like “I talk To The Trees,” “Wandrin’ Star” and “They Call The Wind Maria,” Lerner & Loewe’s golden nugget of a musical strikes it rich! Rated G.
Currently at Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre
A perfect fit for GCP’s intimate 2nd Space Theatre, the classic thriller Wait Until Dark continues its run through April 21st. Made famous by the iconic 1967 movie with Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin, Wait Until Dark holds the audience spellbound as a blind young housewife desperately matches wits with two double-dealing con men and their murderous leader. Featuring one of the most frightening moments in theatrical history, this riveting play culminates in an electrifying and deadly confrontation that will have you on the edge of your seat. Rated PG.

Good Company Players’ Next Auditions
April 13th at 10:00 am at GCP’s 2nd Space Theatre at 928 E. Olive, Fresno, CA 93728.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest is Dale Wasserman’s stage adaptation of Ken Kesey’s renowned 1962 novel about a charming and rebellious rogue who fakes insanity so he can serve his prison sentence in a mental hospital instead of at hard labor. He realizes quickly that he has traded prison for a far more controlling institution. Intensely gripping and brimming with complex characters, Cuckoo’s Nest is every actor’s dream.
Oscar Wilde’s famously witty play, The Importance of Being Earnest, was written in 1895 and continues to delight audiences of every era. This “trivial comedy for serious people” is a light-hearted farce, complete with mistaken identities, disapproving mamas and very silly young lovers. In short, it is comedy from the hand of a master, and a piece every actor should work on at least once.
Scripts are available for check-out at Good Company Players’ business office until the week of auditions. Call 559-266-0211 for more information, or go to www.gcplayers.com.
