At Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater
FIDDLER
Not many seats are left for the final two weeks of Good Company Players’ spectacular run of Fiddler On The Roof, which ends July 14. We’ve had to shut down online sales for Fiddler but a real, live person in our Box Office will try to help you find a suitable evening and table. Call 559-266-9494 or 800-371-4747.
How do we keep our balance? “Tradition!” Fiddler’s moving story of tradition, family love and loss cuts across barriers of race and religion and unites audiences in laughter, heartbreak and self-recognition. Rated G.
CURTAINS
Opening July 18 at Roger Rocka’s is the musical comedy whodunit Curtains – from the creators of Cabaret and Chicago. The egregiously untalented leading lady, Jessica Cranshaw is a triple threat: she can’t sing, act, or dance (or remember when to say her lines). To the relief of everyone, she is murdered during her opening night curtain call. The entire company comes under suspicion, and Lt. Frank Cioffi of the Boston Police Department is called in to solve the homicide. Believing that the perpetrator is still in the building, he sequesters it.
The company uses its spare time to attempt to fix the show’s problems. Meanwhile, secrets are surfacing, the production numbers are rewritten, rehearsed and rewritten again, and the body count is rising. Can Cioffi solve the case, save the show, and get the girl before the curtain rises without getting offed himself? This wickedly funny murder mystery is filled with dance and music. Good Company Players’ production of Curtains will be on stage at Roger Rocka’s through September 8 and it’s rated PG.
SPAGHETTI
Wednesday, July 24 will be Spaghetti Night at Curtains – a chance to have dinner and see the musical comedy at a bargain price. Chef Eric will serve up a variety of pastas and sauces, both meat and meatless. There will be salad and garlic bread, too and the dinner-show price will be only $25.00. Call (559) 266-9494 to get your seats.
What do Shrek and Young Frankenstein have in common?
They’re both coming this fall, to headline delightful evenings of food and fun at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. More spectacular shows from Good Company Players, now in its 40th Year of thrilling audiences from throughout the San Joaquin Valley. More enjoyable dinners from Roger Rocka’s creative and talented Chef Eric DeGroot. The bottom line is FUN!

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST
This tense drama by Ken Kesey tells the story of swaggering, hell-raising rebel Patrick McMurphy who feigns insanity so he can serve his prison sentence in a mental institution rather than a work farm. A power struggle of epic proportions breaks out between McMurphy and Nurse Ratched, growing more and more ferocious as the lines between sanity and insanity become blurred with shattering results. On the 2nd Space stage through August 18 and rated PG-13.
