Hurry for WAIT UNTIL DARK
at 2nd Space

Dark
The classic thriller Wait Until Dark has only 3 weeks left at GCP’s intimate 2nd Space Theatre.  Made famous by the iconic 1967 movie with Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin, Wait Until Dark holds the audience spellbound as a blind young housewife desperately matches wits with two double-dealing con men and their murderous leader. Featuring one of the most frightening moments in theatrical history, this riveting play culminates in an electrifying and deadly confrontation that will have you on the edge of your seat.   Rated PG.  Final performance is Sunday, April 21st.

Good Company opens LOVE LETTERS
at its 2nd Space Theatre

LoveLogo
On April 25th, the Pulitzer Prize winning Love Letters by A. R. Gurney will begin its run at GCP’s wonderfully intimate 2nd Space Theatre at 928 E. Olive. Performed by a rotating cast, this evocative play traces the relationship of Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III through 50 years of correspondence. As the 2nd grade classmates are separated by boarding school, college, war, marriage and politics, they are linked by a bond far stronger than distance and disagreement. Funny, poignant, and romantic, Melissa and Andrew’s story will be all the more fascinating as re-told by four different sets of actors throughout the run of the play. Box Office: 559-266-0660 or 800-371-4747.  Rated PG-13.

2nd Space Auditions to be held
on April 13th at 10:00 am

Good Company Players will be casting One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and The Importance of Being Earnest at 2nd Space Theatre at 928 E. Olive, Fresno, CA 93728 on April 13, 2013:

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest is Dale Wasserman’s stage adaptation of Ken Kesey’s renowned 1962 novel about a charming and rebellious rogue who fakes insanity so he can serve his prison sentence in a mental hospital instead of at hard labor. He realizes quickly that he has traded prison for a far more controlling institution. Intensely gripping and brimming with complex characters, Cuckoo’s Nest is every actor’s dream.

Oscar Wilde’s famously witty play, The Importance of Being Earnest, was written in 1895 and continues to delight audiences of every era. This “trivial comedy for serious people” is a light-hearted farce, complete with mistaken identities, domineering mamas and very silly young lovers. In short, it is comedy from the hand of a master, and a piece every actor should work on at least once.

Scripts are available for check-out at Good Company Players’ business office until the week of auditions. Call 559-266-0211 for more information, or go to www.gcplayers.com.
