Good Company Players at
Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater

Sister Act is “Hot Stuff”

Sister Act is making for some joyful evenings at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater.  This feel-good musical about an aspiring disco diva who takes refuge in a convent under the witness protection program is divinely funny.  Filled with roof-raising gospel music, lively dancing, and a masterfully comedic cast, Good Company Players’ Sister Act is a reason to rejoice!  Rated PG-13 and on stage at Roger Rocka’s through Sept. 10.

Here’s what people are saying on Facebook after seeing Sister Act:
  • “Great night. Good food. Good play. Wonderful time with the lady friends.”
  • “Great time, super food and great entertainment.”
  • “Service and food were great and the show was very entertaining. Expect to laugh throughout the entire show.”
  • “Awesome shows, friends, food, drinks and service…what else can we ask for!”
And here are critics reviews of Sister Act:

Bright!  Fresh!  Funny!  Witty!  Warm!  Happy!

That’s Neil Simon’s nutty comedy FOOLS, on stage now at Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre.  A new teacher arrives in an lovely Russian hamlet to find the town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity. If he stays for 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he’ll become stupid, too, and when he falls in love with the silliest girl around, he puts his luck to the test.  Filled to the brim with puns, one-liners, and pratfalls, this lighthearted comedy is a silly, frothy night of entertaining tom-foolery.  FOOLS runs only through August 20 and is rated PG.

Coming up next at Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre:
The Hound of the Baskervilles
August 24 – October 15In perhaps the greatest of all Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s creations, Sherlock Holmes is asked to solve mysterious deaths connected with a gigantic, demonic hound.
Next up at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater:   The Drowsy Chaperone
September 14 – November 12
When an avid theatre buff places an old record on his phonograph, his favorite 1928 Broadway show comes to life in his living room. A loving satire of old musicals,   Rated PG.
