The reviews of SPAMALOT are in and the verdict is SO FUNNY!

At Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater
The over-the-top musical SPAMALOT, lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, turns the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table upside down and inside out. It features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French People. You can see a video clip from the show here: http://www.youtube.com/rogerrockas
On his quest for the Holy Grail, King Arthur and his loyal companion, Patsy are joined by the brave and not-so-brave Knights of the Round Table. With a little help from the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, the Knights and a slew of other zany characters take hilarious advantage of pop culture in general and Broadway musicals in particular. The 2005 Tony winner for Best Musical is hectically hysterical, full of fabulously funny songs, and an overall must-see! It’s rated PG-13 and is on the stage at through March 17.
Spamalot enhanced by ASL Interpretation Feb. 16
There will be an added dimension to the Good Company Players’ performance of SPAMALOT at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater on Saturday, Feb 16th. Two qualified, highly-skilled ASL interpreters from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center will be signing the performance for the audience.
Persons who wish to be seated with the best view of the interpreters may so indicate when they make their reservations, either online at www.RogerRockas.com or by phone at (559) 266-9494.
Not interested in the Super Bowl?
SPAMALOT offers all of the excitement without the concussions. Brunch and show at the Sunday Matinee is $45. (In honor of SPAMALOT there’s even one dish on the brunch buffet that includes Spam.) If you’re having a “do” at home before the game, you can come for the Show Only for $29… and $8 more gets you a Show Plus which includes a bar beverage, dessert, tax and tip. For students, Student Rush tickets go on sale at 12:50 PM for $16. The Junior Company goes on stage at 1 PM and SPAMALOT begins at 1:30.
At Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre
In this riotously funny Southern-fried comedy, the three Verdeen cousins could not have picked a worse time to throw their family reunion. Hilarity ensues when the widely eccentric Verdeens gather on the hottest day of July, smack–dab in the middle of Texas tornado season – and a high-stakes wager is made on who bakes the best red velvet cake!
The Red Velvet Cake War is rated PG and is on the 2nd Space stage through February 24. (559) 266-0660.
Next at 2nd Space
Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott
A masterfully constructed thriller about a blind housewife targeted by a trio of criminals and forced into an electrifying confrontation in the final deadly scene. February 28
