The “Wild West” is rippin’ and roarin’ at Roger Rocka’s with Calamity Jane.” In a first for Good Company Players and Roger Rocka’s, the title role is being played by Special Guest Artist Louise Mandrell.
Wild Bill Hickok has his hands full with the even wilder Calamity Jane in this hilarious western romp. Adapted from the Doris Day film, it’s a musical hoe-down. In the midst of this battle-of- the-sexes are mistaken identities, romantic rivalry and a tomboy transformed by a “Secret Love.” Rated G.
The Fresno Bee’s review of Calamity Jane is now out. You can read it at this link.

It’s FORUM in 2013!
The 40th Anniversary Season of Good Company Players will climax at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater with the show that started it all, back in 1973. Our year-ending show in 2013 will be –
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM.
In the early summer of 1973, an audience gathered in the ballroom of the Hilton Hotel downtown to check out the first offering of a new summer theatre company called Good Company Players, the brainchild of Dan Pessano, Chris Moad and Ronald J. Harlan. They left a couple hours later with smiles on their faces and their sides sore from laughing, electrified by GCP’s first performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
What better way to top off GCP’s 40th Anniversary Season than with a fresh, new production of the same wonderful show that forever elevated Valley theatre on that exciting night in 1973. We can promise to have Forum audiences smiling and laughing all over again.
