Good Company Players’ revival of their run-away holiday hit, A Christmas Story, The Musical, opens November 10 at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater.
It’s everybody’s favorite Christmas Story, kicked up a notch with wonderful music, and as delightful as ever! Complete with leg lamps, Red Rider BB guns, and dire warnings of eye injuries, this Good Company Players treat is not to be missed.
Set in Indiana in 1940, we follow young Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts – an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time.
A Christmas Story, The Musical is on stage at Roger Rocka’s through January 8. Rated PG.
We know many young people will want to come to A Christmas Story, the Musical. The good news is that we have special rates for children and young adults to make family theater nights more affordable. The kids’ rates are good Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings so be sure to ask about them when you call for reservations. You’ll also find them available when you buy online.
There are only 4 performances left of Camelot, this Thursday through Sunday. It’s all over after the matinee on Sunday and King Arthur, Guinevere, Sir Lancelot the chivalrous knights, the romantic ladies-in-waiting, the bumbling wizards, and the mischievous wood sprites will fade once again into the mists of myth. Good dinner/show seats are still available. Call 266-9494.
***The final performance of Camelot Sunday is a special benefit matinee for United Cerebral Palsy at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. Tickets are not available through the box office. Instead call Liz at UCP, 559-221-8272.
Opening Thursday at 2nd Space
A new version of the beloved holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life opens November 3 at Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre. It’s A Wonderful Life, the Live Radio Play will sweep you back to a time when families all over America gathered around the radio on wintry nights to listen to their favorite programs. Don’t touch that dial!
Revisit Bedford Falls on Christmas Eve, 1947. Fall in love again with George and Mary, and discover the magic of an angel named Clarence! Join the cast and crew as they take you on a journey through the most important evening in one person’s life. It’s the perfect holiday outing for the entire family! On stage through Dec. 18, and rated G.
