GCP opens the family favorite, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, at 2nd Space Theatre November 1st

This delightfully heart-warming American classic is an audience favorite! When the regular Christmas Pageant director breaks her leg, a sweet and naive mother of two is pressed into service. Unfortunately for her, the worst kids in town discover that refreshments are served at church and that’s all they need to descend on the parish and snatch up the leading roles, along with any dessert they can find.

It’s a wild ride, and it soon becomes apparent that the horrible Herdmans aren’t the only ones who’ve been missing true meaning of Christmas.  Rated G

Auditions December 6

Auditions for the upcoming 2nd Space shows Always A Bridesmaid and The Cripple of Inishmaan will be held on Saturday, December 6.  The auditions begin at 10 a.m. at GCP’s 2nd Space at  928 E. Olive in Fresno.

Rehearsals for  Always A Bridesmaid begin January 19 and the show will be on stage February 26 through April 19.  Rehearsals for The Cripple of Inishmaan begin March 16 and the show performs April 23 through June 14.
