Good Company Players is accepting enrollment
for Spring/Summer Workshops now

The 2014 Performance Experience Workshop will present an All-Kids Production of The Pirates of Penzance, which begins rehearsals June 2nd.  Young people aged 8-17 will present their own performances in this zany operetta, full of swashbuckling pirates, ditzy fair maidens, bumbling policemen, lovable villains and confused heroes. Sign up deadline is May 21 and the class meets June 2nd through July 8th.

GCP’s popular 2-week Theatre Skills Workshop is scheduled for July 28 – August 8th.  This class is great fun and uses small scenes and excerpts of show songs to familiarize kids with classic theater and teach them to audition and perform with confidence.

Upcoming Auditions

Auditions for Good Company Players’ productions of West Side Story and The Addams Family will be held May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater at 1226 N. Wishon Ave., Fresno.

The placement auditions for Good Company Players’ All-Kids Production of The Pirates of Penzancewill be held Saturday, May 17th at 9:00 a.m. in Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. This audition is for those young people enrolled in the workshop and is not required to participate but will be used to assign speaking roles.  Everyone who signs up for the workshop is in the cast.

Auditions for Good Company Players’s renowned Junior Company are Saturday, May 31st at 9:00 a.m. in Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater.

We’re going to make you more comfy

New chairs and new carpeting are on order for Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater.  The carpeting will arrive first with installation scheduled for the first few days in June.  Around mid-June, the chairs will arrive.  We spent quite a bit of time testing different chairs and we think you’ll find the ones we finally chose quite comfortable.
