All Kids Production Workshop: Hello, Dolly!
June 6th – July 12th, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Ages 8-17
One of the best American musicals of all time with tons of delightful roles for young actors and a very busy ensemble, Hello, Dolly! is a perfect way for kids to spend their summer. With a hilarious script and ageless music, they will treasure this experience for a lifetime. Participants in the All-Kids Workshop will get a chance to work on the main-stage set. In addition, members of GCP’s main-stage cast will help mentor the workshop cast. RATED G.
Theatre Skills Workshop
July 25th through August 5th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Final Performance from 12:15-1:00 on Aug. 5. Ages 8-17
A 2-week intensive that provides training in dance, singing, and acting. Students prepare and perform scenes and musical numbers from upcoming GCP shows, especially those that have roles for young people. Students learn the basics of stage performance: teamwork, confidence, self-discipline, focus, and concentration are among the vital skills the workshop instructors emphasize. Along the way, they have a lot of fun, and it all culminates in a final performance!
