In Good Company Players’ toe-tapping salute to 30’s movie musicals, the stage-struck heir to a New York banking empire travels to Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on a run-down theater. He falls head-over-heels for the theater owner’s daughter and decides to save the theater from forclosure by putting on a show. Nobody trusts him so he disguises himself as a famous producer. All goes swimmingly until the real producer also arrives in Deadrock.
Mosey back to a simpler time and let the timeless music of George and Ira Gershwin wash over you. Rated PG.

Singing for the Stage (Adults and young people 9 and older) Learn to sing under pressure. Work on vocal technique, expanding your range and power and get audition tips from GCP veterans.

Ballroom Basics (Adults and young people 13 and older) Instructor Steve Souza will introduce students to Swing, Waltz, Polka and Fox Trot, all of which are frequently used in theatre. Great for actors, but also fabulous for those who just want to have fun and stay fit. Saturdays, 4/7 – 4/18, 3:30 p.m. – 4:25 p.m.
Beginning Theatre Dance (Adults and young people 9 and older) A combination Jazz/Tap class taught by Malinda Asbury. The class is designed to build strength, flexibility, retention and range. Very useful for auditions and a lot of fun! Saturdays, 4/7 – 4/18, 4:30 p.m. – 5:25 p.m.
Acting Essentials (Adults and young people 9 and older) This class will address vocal production and articulation, physical control and freedom, character analysis and emotional depth.
